French classical guitarist, Théo Migeon trained at the prestigious Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland, where he formed the guitar quartet Mandala. He has performed and competed at guitar festivals all over Europe, and he played The Hopbarn in Southwell in 2016 in one of the festival’s pop-up concerts.
As well as a conservatoire training in Rennaissance and Baroque luth music, Théo has a vast, hummingbird-fingered repertoire of the contemporary and avant-garde, taking you from France to Poland, Italy to Spain. Forget everything you know about classical guitar; this young artist will uproot you and introduce you to a new intimacy with music. Take a look at the video below.
He will be playing across the weekend.
